SUUM X is a global contemporary art exhibition platform and an extension of the SUUM Project, which was founded in London in 2003 by curator Ji Yoon Lee with the aim of creating global contemporary art projects between Europe and Korea. Over the past 18 years, the SUUM Project has planned more than 100 global contemporary art exhibitions, including collaborations with major international museums and biennales. Through partnerships with various domestic and international companies and institutions, it has sought ways to make art more accessible to the public through art marketing and collaborations.

In the past four years, the SUUM Project has expanded its operations more actively in Seoul, establishing SUUM X, a professional contemporary art exhibition production office specializing in museum consulting, collection advising, and space planning.

As a new platform introducing diverse contemporary art exhibitions to domestic and international audiences, SUUM X focuses on providing new artistic experiences at the intersection of art, technology, and culture, while strengthening the connection between art and the public. SUUM X has successfully held a variety of exhibitions both in Korea and abroad in collaboration with major global art institutions. Notable exhibitions include LUX: New Wave of Contemporary Art in London (2021), BVLGARI Colors at the Seoul Arts Center (2021), Heatherwick Studio: Building Soulfulness—a showcase of works by the world-renowned designer and architect Thomas Heatherwick in collaboration with Mori Art Museum (2023), and LUX: Poetic Resolution, a large-scale media art exhibition featuring 12 leading media and new media artist groups at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
